It’s busy and fun in the studio, creating courses for the online school, tutoring, painting commissions, and working on new paintings for holiday art shows!
I’ll be at the North Penn Holiday Craft Market this Saturday, November 17, 2018, in Lansdale, PA. Click the image below or use this link to learn more.
I was accepted into this show two years ago – the first time participating was intimidating, but has become one of my favorites, and is among the finest traditional and contemporary craft shows in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Here’s the newest painting, ready to be displayed at the show. These monarch butterflies in watercolor are created on a piece of vintage sheet music from 1912.
If you would like to hear more about the show, feel free to comment, or email me at rebrho@gmail.com. Thanks for visiting!

I hope the North Penn Craft Market event was a huge success for you Rebecca – it would be good to hear about it in your next blog for those of us who can’t attend. I love those delicate paintings you do on sheet music and I’m intrigued to know how you manage this when it’s not watercolour paper?

Hi Deb! The North Penn Craft Show is always a fun event, and signals the beginning of my Christmas season. Painting on sheet music is similar to using hot press paper, but even smoother. It lifts easily and requires a delicate touch, but is lots of fun and a great way to re-purpose this old music. Hope you are doing well!
